Agile Coach is a role that is expected to scale the Agile Way of working in a company. To become one, you should master both the theory and practice of Agile Practices, Facilitating Skills, and Communication. Ekipa Academy will help to suit you with these required skills and become an excellent Agile Coach.
Agile Coach is an advanced Scrum Master who has expanded their scope from managing a scrum team to managing organization-wide agility.
Of course! Agile Coaches are needed in a wide variety of industries and can be learned regardless of your background. Even though Agile and Scrum Practices are coming from Software Development, the Agile values are starting to be applied in the non-IT area. Ekipa has worked with various industries in spreading Agile sparks, from Mining, Financial, and Insurance Services, to Government Institutes.
While Project Manager works in leading a team to in delivering a project within a certain time frame, Agile Coach is not bound by a time frame and works mostly to help spread Agile values and practices in the organization.
To become an Agile Coach, you can start by practicing at the team level as a Scrum Master. As an Agile Coach, you can also advance your career into the Transformation Head of a company that is responsible for Agile/Digital Transformation at the organizational level.
